Sir & Recognition on Creative Education

We at PeKi play seriously! A balanced education is a key ingredient on our rules and we could not have found a better person to inspired us, with more credentials and profound involving approach on the field than: Sir Ken Robinson PhD

Yes! “Sir”.

He received a knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II for his services to the arts.

Moreover, he is a very fun character

Sir. Robinson, marvelously presents the importance of letting the kids be creative, a value that we also advocate, modestly through all our experiences.

The video we highly recommend to watch, or to watch it again, is his famous 2006 presentation at TED Conference, regarding to the importance of creativity as much as literacy on children’s curriculum.

If you are more interested in education, perhaps, it will be interesting to check the latest brief interview at CBS News Morning Show, with Sir. Robinson, about his new book, “ Creative Schools: The Grassroots Revolution That’s Transforming Education”. It is about the urgency of a personalized education, developing a love of learning, preparing the new generation for the real challenges of our times.

I have personally, found interesting to suggest another book from the author: “ Finding your Element “. Perhaps a fun way to find out new path to improve our own creativity and self – fulfillment.
